For the second year in a row, the Grafton Senior Center had to cancel their annual Thanksgiving Day luncheon due to COVID concerns. Upon hearing this, the team at Homefield Credit Union reached out to Lisa Kelly, Outreach Coordinator at the Senior Center, to formulate a plan to provide a Thanksgiving meal to seniors in town who might otherwise go without.
Arrangements were made to have turkey dinners, with all the fixings, prepared by a local Grafton restaurant. The individually packaged meals, paid for by Homefield Credit Union, were delivered earlier today to more than 50 senior citizens by Homefield CU employees.
