At Homefield Credit Union’s recent All Employee Meeting, Melody Wiklund was presented with the GEM Award for Going the Extra Mile.
Melody was hired in 2021 as a Teller at the Credit Union’s Main Office. In 2023, she was promoted to Finance / Lending Administrator. Yet, as staffing needs have arisen, Melody has willingly provided Teller coverage at both the Main Office and the Milford Branch. She has even stayed beyond her normal departure time to assist with the end of day tasks in the branch, and always does so with a smile! Not only does the branch staff enjoy spending time with her, but several Credit Union members have commented on how much they enjoy seeing her in the branch.
