North Grafton, MA – Julie DeLong, CPA, who joined Homefield Credit Union as Chief Financial Officer in 2013, has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer by Karl J. Moisan, President and Chief Executive Officer. She will also continue in her role as Chief Financial Officer.
According to Mr. Moisan, the additional responsibilities are in order. “Julie has played an important role in the financial success that the Credit Union is experiencing now. In addition, her skills proved invaluable in our recent core conversion. Most importantly, her depth of knowledge and professionalism strengthen the overall resume of the entire Homefield Management Team.”
DeLong has over 20 years of financial management experience in areas very beneficial to the Credit Union. Prior to joining Homefield, she was CFO at Mass Bay Credit Union. Before that, she was Executive Vice President at Tremont Credit Union and an Auditor with KPMG, LLP.
Ms. DeLong is a graduate of Fitchburg State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She earned her Master’s Degree at Bentley University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Ms. DeLong is also immersed in the local community, and is a member of as well as a volunteer at the Grafton Historical Society.
